Character Designer- Job Information:

 What does a character designer do?

- They make the look of the character based off of descriptions from the director. 

-They produce model sheets that show the character from different angles. 

What's a character designer good at?

- Drawing, being able to adapt to different art styles and showing good attention to detail.

- Working with other artists. Being able to collaborate and share ideas to improve designs. 

- Watching cartoons, having a high amount of interest in the animation industry. however, staying open to other industries such as illustration, advertising and gaming can be beneficial. 

How do I become a Character Designer?

- Keep drawing to practise and improve.

- Build a portfolio. Manually and online.

- Get an education/ degree based on art and design

- Networking with other artists
