Website Research:

 







After researching a number of different web building sites, I've started to think about layout. For inspiration, I've looked at websites made by contemporary illustrators and character designer. 

Every website presented here is quite simply with  a white background. The website should have a simple layout and colour scheme that is not distracting viewers away from the artwork.

All of these websites have different layouts that all clearly present the illustrations in a presentable and professional way. 

At the top of each site, they all have their own branding trademark. Showing either their name hand-written or their own logo. 

This research has been useful because I've been able to see what are the effective methods of presenting a website.

For the next stages of my work, I'm going to sketch out some website roughs and use this research as inspiration.
